VILLA RICA, Ga. -- In honor of the opening of a brand new Hardee's/Red Burrito in Villa Rica, residents now have the opportunity to win a year's worth of biscuits.

When the restaurant (161 Commerce Drive, 30180) opens its doors for the first time at 5 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, the first 50 guests in line will each win one free biscuit for a whole year -- a total of 52 Hardee's biscuits.

Additionally, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a tent in the parking lot, packed with free food samples, Happy Star and the Hardee's Street Team meeting guests, and prizes from the official Hardee's Wheel of Awesome.

The restaurant's grand opening on Friday, June 17 will be celebrated with a carnival, dunking booths, free samples, prizes and more.

The Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar, Wasabi, is a pretty good sushi restaurant according to Douglasville residents. This restaurant offers hibachi and a long list of sushi selections. Most of the rolls sold at the restaurant are sold for under $10 and although the restaurant doubles as a steakhouse, it offers a three page long sushi menu. The restaurant is located at 9436 Highway 5 in Douglasville.

Popular Vinnings restaurant, Orient Express, is famous for their variety of sushi rolls and creative Asian inspired meals. The restaurant offers house sushi rolls, special sushi rolls and dinner sushi combinations.

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. -- A popular seafood restaurant chain has partnered with the Salvation Army to benefit the Georgia and Alabama families affected by the storms on Apr. 28.

On Thursday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., customers who dine at certain Joe's Crab Shack locations will have 10 percent of their checks donated to the Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army has been on the ground providing relief to the immediate needs of tornado survivors in Georgia and Alabama.

Locals love White House Restaurant, the restaurant which is located in Buckhead is an independently owned Greek-American diner. The place is tiny and easy to miss but diners love this restaurant for its quirky feel. The restaurant serves omlettes, pancakes, sandwiches and other Greek fare; however, people love their breakfast menu, above all. The restaurant is open from 6:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. It’s located at 3172 Peachtree Road in Buckhead.

Ria’s Bluebird which is located in the Grant Park neighborhood is a favorite among the Atlanta’s inTown crowd. Their popular dishes include: Fish and Grits, the Bluebird Burrito and the Southwest Tofu Scramble. The restaurant is located near the King Memorial Marta station.

ATLANTA -- Happy Friday! Celebrate the start of the weekend with a half-price however-you-want-it Frappuccino from Starbucks.

On May 6, participating Starbucks stores will hold the first Frappuccino Happy Hour from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. All flavors and sizes of the popular blended coffee drink are half-price during Happy Hour.

Starbucks is also bringing back two coconut drinks for summer.

The Mocha Coconut Frappuccino is a signature flavor in the chain's Hawaii stores.
