DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. -- Coffee manufacturer Keurig Green Mountain announced plans to open a facility in Douglas County, bringing 550 jobs and $337 million to the area.
The company will begin accepting applications this fall for jobs in several areas, including production, maintenance, engineering, safety and IT.
Gov. Nathan Deal announced Thursday that Keurig has also partnered with Atlanta-based Coca-Cola to develop Keurig Cold, an in-home cold beverage system to complement its hot drink brewers.
The new 585,000-square-foot Douglasville center will support production of pods for the new Keurig Cold platform.
