AUSTELL, Ga. -- If country line dancing is your thing, you won't want to miss the Texas Roadhouse line dancing contest at Six Flags.

The competition will be Tuesday, July 26 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Nine teams are scheduled to compete: four from Georgia (Douglasville, Hiram, Marietta and Snellville), three from Alabama and two from Mississippi.

Teams are made up of eight to 10 dancers dressed in Texas Roadhouse attire. They will each dance to three songs, and a panel of judges will evaluate them on creativity, energy, spirit and synchronicity.

The winning team will go on to represent the region in a national line dancing competition.

Tickets are $40 each, which includes a ticket to Six Flags, parking pass, food voucher and admission to the line dancing contest. Five dollars of every ticket sold will go to the Boys and Girls Club of Douglasville.

Six Flags Over Georgia is located at 275 Riverside Parkway in Austell.
